MEET JOANNA NEEDHAM: THE STRONGEST WOMAN IN AMERICA...THE BEAUTY WITH HEART AND BRAINS!!  MEET JOANNA NEEDHAM: AMERICA'S STRONGEST WOMAN...

PROFILE OF A CHAMPION                                                                                                                              By Emanuelle Lagrange

Meet Joanna Needham: American Beauty, Motorcycle World Champion and the Original American Gladiator 1989 Seed!

NOBODY in the world can beat this woman. You can't, unless you are a legitimate super-professional male wrestler on the top list of world champions! Joanna is 5'8" and 165 pounds with lots of brains and education. She has been  involved in sports almost her entire life. She began in sports at age 7 in AAU Olympics and President's Physical Fitness programs. In both Junior High and High School  Joanna won awards for top student athlete in track and field. Later on, she became interested in karate and received her black belt in kenpo (A form of Karate) at the age of 14.  Her talent and accomplishments in sports secured her  a scholarship to college where she played basketball, tennis, and got her "San Dan", meaning 3rd degree black belt. And believe it or not, Joanna Needham is the first female motorcycle officer in California. Currently, she is the  state and national champion in karate for police and fire departments.

In addition, she retired as the number 2 national champion in the country for women's karate. In 1987 Needham retired as the national and the world champion in motorcycle racing. Two years later, she shined as the super diva on the original American Gladiators in 1989. She was the American Gladiators'  first seed. Yep! She made it all the way to the finals when an injury sidelined this outstanding athlete. She made her wrestling debut in 1989 and began to beat the hell out of every single female champion she met in the ring. But never, intended on causing any bodily injury or emotional harm to her opponents. This woman is strong. I mean deadly strong. Her Kempo-karate  martial arts training developed in her, superb fighting techniques, discipline and unsurpassed courage. Besides, she is big, a well-trained athlete and a real "sports machine"! She will fight any man, any woman, anywhere, any time " if travel expenses are paid, including her rates of $200 for a half hour or $300 for an hour." explained Joanna. And by the way, she speaks several languages, including Greek!
