ISABEL ROSE IS VERY UPSET! First, Maxamillion, I want to thank you for writing the piece on me. However, I am terribly upset about something and need to clarify it right away. I don't know whether I simply didn't hear you say hello to me, or whether someone else caught my attention right after I came off stage. I don't know. But I am one of the most conscienciously polite people around and take tremendous pains to be so. I am stunned that you chose to portray me as self-involved and rude. It is so inaccurate I don't know what to say! I'm just desperately upset that that is how you percieved me. I was raised always to be polite. I am, at the end of the day, a nice Jewish girl with a delicious daughter and a desire to fulfill myself artistically. I have no agenda even for stardom. I'm just trying to work. I'm just trying to enjoy myself. I know I"m not a great singer. I've said it a million times. Nevertheless, I feel I have something to offer. But I am UNBELIEVABLY easy to work with. You could ask any director. I love direction and will listen to anyone. I will try anything. I just try to be brave and humble and learn. You asked me to answer those questions very quickly and I did my best given no time at all and racing my daughter to school and gymnastics class and turning my manuscript into to Doubleday. I just--= I don't know when you said hello and I didn't return it-- is it possible that I just didn't hear you?????? I can't imagine EVER snubbing you, or anyone purposely for that matter. I'm shocked. I'm devestated. And again, I thank you for any exposure you have given me and for any help you have to offer. I am grateful more than you know. ANd now my daughter is asking me to stop working and play with her, so I must go. Best regards and deepest apologies for the unintentional slight, Isabel. NY

Later, she got lucky and began to teach at Stanford. Good for her. But, please don't insult my intelligence by telling me she is the most accomplished politician and political advisor in the most powerful country in the world. She is not! As a matter of fact, she knows nothing about the Middle East. She does not know Arabic. She never studied Arab and Islamic laws and culture. Never worked or lived in any Arab or Muslim country. Never dealt directly with Muslim and Arab Leader. And for sure, she does not know the difference between "ASHURA" and "SOURA" of the Quran. Yet, she is the senior advisor to President Bush on Islamic, Arab and Middle Eastern politics. Crazy world! Laurent Martel, Paris, France. WHY THE BIG FUSS ROSE? What is she complaining about? Lafayette wrote a glowing article about Isabel Rose. He portrayed her as a stunning star and multidimensional artist. I thought it was a great piece. So why is she making a big deal and why Rose is upset? I have no clues. It was a very positive article. But stars are never satisfied. So, throw the book at them. Ron Rousso, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

ISABEL ROSE IS GREAT! Dear Melvina: With a great interest I read the article of Mr. de Lafayette about Isabel Rose. I got so excited about it and rushed to Amazon and Yahoo to order her CD. But no CD is to be found. Where can I buy her CD? How can I reach Ms. Rose? Can you get me an autographed photo of her? Please tell Ms. Isabel Rose not to be upset by the article of Mr. Lafayette. The article was very good. Everybody here in Islam Abbad liked the article. I don't want her to be upset. Please excuse any mistake in English. Rafic Omran Khan, Pakistan.
