The world of fashion is temperamental. It changes with the weather. And this is why we have winter fashion, summer fashion, spring fashion, etc. You got my drill. And as a result, new models surface and catch the light. Others come and fade away. However, there is a breed of models which transcends time and space...and seasons. Those are the clever super models who redefine and reinvent themselves. While at the top of the world, the super models catch the glitters and bitterly fight the competition. They become selfish, shrewd and manipulative. At the dawn of their career,  they were young, vivacious and their looks appealed to the industry, the markets, the designers and the public. Their looks and youth were the key. Age is our worst enemy. Ask the models. They are the experts. With age and time, models and super models loose "something"; youth, curves, contours, body definition. But, those who are bright enough, reinvent themselves and adopt a new image. They quasi-change a career. They become fitness celebrities, they write books on beauty, fitness, training, bodywork, even nutrition and recipes.

I visited couturiers and designers, talked to directors of maison de haute coutures, sneaked on modeling agencies, surfed the net and collected catalogues, also, I searched literature and press releases about  hot models, newcomers, supermodels and new shining names on the board of the world of fashion, glamour and modeling, just to see and know who is in and who is out. Hundreds of modeling agencies and maisons de haute couture invent and create models. Glossy prints, fancy  photos and catchy headlines crafted by publicists, promoters, photographers and public relations agencies do the trick. There are thousands of them, starting in Tblisi, Georgia to Milano, Italy, passing by Barcelona, Paris and New York City. Super models make more money than a president of a university, a professor of astrophysics and a NASA scientist. You do not need a graduate degree to become a famous model. You need the looks, the aura, the presence, the youth, the finesse and the charisma. Educated or not, it does not make any difference in the world of fashion and modeling. You have to have the goodies and your equipment must be in good shape and your tools working. Do not try to enhance the size of your breast. Don't even dare to have a boob job. Designers and couturiers hate fake looks. Yah sure! But that is how it goes. Many modeling agencies compiled lists of hot hot models. Of course, those lists are self-serving.
